Five Oaks Middle School Service Project

We are joining neighbors, faculty and staff from Five Oaks Middle School, in making a difference in our community! Mayor Rob Drake of Beaverton has joined Mayor Tom Potter of Portland and 500 other local churches in declaring this Summer as a "Season of Service." We are joining them!

The work will include yard work and painting. Bring gloves. We will also need trowels, pruners, rakes, shovels, and a few wheel barrows. Please put your name on your tools.

The Palau group will also be organizing a neighborhood collection of gently used clothing (for Middle Schoolers so keep in mind what they'd actually wear!), non-perishable food, and school supplies (in particular pencils, notebook paper, and 3 ring binders). They will use this to replenish the dwindling supplies of all these items at Five Oaks. They will collect the clothing, food, and school supplies the morning of June 7th, so bring what you can.
